We comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, and we apply technical and organizational measures against unauthorised processing and against accidental loss or destruction of data.

We collect the data you send us through the site's forms:

• The contact form: first name, last name, e-mail address and your message. The telephone number is optional.
• The request for a quote: first name, last name, e-mail address, company, country, field, product and your message. The telephone number and your role are optional.
• Newsletter: the e-mail address.

When you open the site, our hosting provider processes the technical data every browser sends, such as the IP address, in order to deliver the pages and keep them secure. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how the site is used; the details are in the Cookie Policy.

To reply to the messages and requests sent through the site and, if we reach a partnership, to fulfil our contractual obligations. The legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying and, where applicable, the performance of the contract.

To send the newsletter to those who have subscribed and, if you have accepted analytics cookies, to measure how the site is used. The legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time: for the newsletter from the unsubscribe link or by e-mail, for the measurement from Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page.

We do not use the data for automated decisions and we do not build profiles. We do not process it for purposes other than those for which we received it.

We keep the data from messages for as long as we need it to reply and, where financial, accounting or tax obligations exist, for the period required by law, but no longer than 5 years. We keep the newsletter address until you unsubscribe.

We do not sell your data. It is seen only by the providers that run the site for us, each under a data processing agreement: Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of the pages), Resend (sending the messages from the forms and the newsletter) and, only with your consent, Google Analytics (measuring visits). These providers are based in the United States or may process data there; such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Public authorities receive data only when the law requires it. The messages from the forms arrive in the company's mailboxes, one of which is hosted by Yahoo.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right:

• to find out whether we process data about you and to receive a copy of it, together with the purposes, the categories of data, the recipients and the retention period;
• to ask for the rectification of inaccurate data or the completion of incomplete data;
• to ask for the erasure of the data, when it is no longer necessary, when you withdraw your consent, when you object to the processing or when the processing is unlawful. We cannot erase it if the law requires us to keep it or if it is necessary for the defense of a legal claim;
• to ask for the restriction of processing, while we verify a challenge to the accuracy of the data or when you object to its erasure;
• to receive the data in a structured, machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller;
• to object at any time, free of charge and without justification, to processing for direct marketing;
• to lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing or to bring the matter before the courts.

Send a written request to contact@oveptechnology.com or to our office in Cluj-Napoca. We reply without undue delay. The first copy of the data is free; for further copies we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data sent through the forms. We recommend care when giving personal data online and periodic checks of its accuracy.
