Cookie Policy

Which cookies this site uses, which ones need your consent and how you can refuse or delete them.

In force from October 15, 2026

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file, made of letters and numbers, which the site saves in your browser. It is passive: it contains no programs, viruses or spyware and it cannot read other files on your device. Its purpose is to let the site recognize you on your next visit and remember preferences, the language for example.

There are session cookies, which disappear when you close the browser, and persistent cookies, which stay for a set period. Some are placed by the site you are visiting, others by third parties, through content included in the page.

The legal framework

We use cookies in accordance with Directive 2002/58/EC concerning privacy in electronic communications and Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are placed only after you agree.

Which cookies we use

By default, none. The site sets no cookies of its own: the language is part of the page address, and your choice from the cookie bar is kept in the browser's local storage, not in a cookie.

If you choose Accept all, Google Analytics places its own cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier). We use no advertising cookies and we do not sell browsing data. The presentation film on the home page is hosted by us, not by a third-party platform.

How we measure traffic

With Google Analytics, and only with your consent. Until you choose Accept all, the Analytics script is not loaded and nothing is measured. If you choose Reject all or close the bar, it stays that way. Analytics shows us, in aggregate, which pages are read and where visitors come from.

How long they last

The Google Analytics cookies stay for up to 2 years or until you delete them. Your choice from the cookie bar stays in the browser until you change it or clear the site data.

How you refuse or delete them

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. Every modern browser also allows cookies to be blocked or deleted from the Settings or Preferences menu. If you refuse, the site works the same.

Personal data

The site's own storage keeps only your choice, with no personal data. The Google Analytics cookies carry a random identifier that tells one browser from another; it is processed by Google Ireland Limited. What we do with the data sent through the form or the newsletter is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.
